As the general 2023 Presidential election set to kick-off in the next few days in Nigeria and the commencement of the Presidential campaign, many Nigerians, top politicians have been sharing their views regarding the Presidential candidates and their chances in the forthcoming Presidential election.
Based on these notes, a well known Nigerian politician, APC chieftain, and former National Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomhole while addressing his people during his recent campaign tour in Edo State has noted that supporting the former governor of Anambra State and Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Gregory Obi have no idea that the 2023 Presidential election is between the former vice president of Nigeria and the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar and the former governor of Lagos State and Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu.
While addressing the people the former governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole urged Nigerians to compare Anambra State to Lagos State before making their decision in the forthcoming Presidential election.
He also said what Peter Obi could not do for Anambra State during his time as the governor he cannot do it for Nigeria if elected as President, adding that there was no major public hospital in Anambra State for eight years during the administration of Peter Obi.
According to the APC chieftain, Adams Oshiomhole, he said, “Those who call themselves Obidients don’t know that the election is between two people which are Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. As for us, we are following Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu because he knows the road”.
While addressing Nigerian youths, Adams Oshiomhole said, “Nigerian youths should go to Onitsha in Anambra State and the state’s capital (Awka) and compare it with Lagos State before making decision on who to vote.
Further speaking, Adams Oshiomhole said, “It is evident that all the front-runners who want to be president were governors before. What some of them could not do in their state, can they do it in Nigeria? There was no major public hospital in Anambra State for good eight years that Peter Obi was governor. When Peter Obi was governor, he kept the local government money in fidelity bank that he was heading. He was still making money then”.
