It looks like brands have heard the cry from South African women, and have decided to create a safe space for women only to enjoy themselves this women’s month.t Converse All Stars was amongst those brands that wanted to create female-only gatherings where attendees could celebrate other women without the usually heightened fear they have. The brand hosted a women-only creative space to celebrate those in the arts and entertainment at Langham in Fourways, Johannesburg. Painters, poets, designers, and singers spent the day experiencing the brand’s core pillars in fashion. While sipping some beverages and enjoying picnics, some creatives were given a chance to perform for and showcase their talent. The brands continue to look for ways to empower the females in the country and are creating a safe space while at it.
