Dr. Gaynelle Makhubele, aged 32, was born in Acornhoek but spent her formative years in Phalaborwa, where she attended Frans Du Toit High School. She later pursued her studies at the University of Cape Town, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery. Her passion for medicine and dedication to her patients earned her widespread respect.

To honor the memory of Dr. Makhubele, a memorial service will be held at Impala Park Hall on Thursday, August 10. The community will gather to remember her contributions and celebrate her life’s work. The final farewell will take place on Saturday, August 12, as Dr. Makhubele is laid to rest.
