The presence of diphtheria in 13 of the state’s local government areas has been confirmed by the Kano Government.
This was said by Dr. Aminu Tsanyawa, the commissioner for well being, at a briefing on it and lassa fever outbreaks on Saturday.
He voiced out that there have been 100 suspected cases, three of which have resulted in death.

According to him, there are currently 27 patients receiving treatment on admission, and 41 have been managed and discharged.
The man mentioned that on 10th, the Muhammad Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital, reported someone with it to the public Health Emergency operation center.
