Many hours ago, TVC News had an interview with the President General of the Ohanaeze Ndi’igbo Socio-cultural Group, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, where he spoke about Simon Ekpa, the factional leader of a proscribed secessionist group.
Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu said, “I have made up my mind to travel out of the country and pay Simon Ekpa a visit wherever he is. I will go and appeal (beg) to him because he is causing a lot of harm and damages to igbos.”
Speaking further, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu said, “I will be visiting him because I am the father of all igbos. I know southeastern governors might want to use force in handling the case but as a father, I will not be happy seeing that any of my children is killed.”
Lastly, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu said, “I don’t think any right thinking Igbo or Nigerian will do anything that will stop his people from going to school, work or doing their businesses. I will speak with Simon Ekpa to know the reason behind his actions.”
