The Constitution of Kenya clearly spells out that every Kenyan child is entitled to free and compulsory basic education that runs from the primary school to the secondary level. Education ministry is currently under the leadership of Hon Ezekiel Machogu as the cabinet secretary.
Bad news have rocked the education CS barely one week after the reports of the government releasing the capitation money to the schools across the country.
According to the reliable source from the Daily Nation newspaper dated today 21st June, 2023 confusion has been reported where by some school heads have lamented to have received little amount of money that was disbursed while other school heads have confessed to have totally missed the capitation money to help them run the schools smoothly.
In conclusion, the cabinet secretary of education Ezekiel Machogu should swing into action as soon as possible to clear out the mess and confusion that has gripped the public schools that missed out the capitation money.
