Reactions as Bristol Rovers’ squad shave their head in support of 1 of their player battling cancer

Bristol Rovers’ entire squad on Monday, the 16th of January, 2023. Shaved their heads in support of their defender, Nick Anderton who battling cancer.

The English defender who joined Bristol Rovers from Carlisle United in May 2021 suffered a devastating blow in the summer after he was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer.

Since coming to terms with the news, the 26-year-old then learnt that the cancer had spread and he required chemotherapy.

To show support for the Englishman, Bristol Rovers players and staffs have showed class, by shaving their head in support for Nick Anderton, who is battling against Osteosarcoma.
