The Spokesperson of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo has shut down the claim that some of the gaffes made by Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his rallies prove that he has health issues.
According to Keyamo who appeared in an interview on Arise TV this morning, the slip of the tongue or gaffes as many know it has happened to every candidate. He stated that it has happened to Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar, Kwankwaso, and some of their spokespersons as well. So it’s a bit of a stretch to say that it indicates illness or whatsoever.
In his own words as seen on Arise TV this morning…
“I have not seen anything happen to Tinubu that has not happened to Peter Obi and Atiku. I repeat it, I have not seen anything happen to my candidate that hasn’t happened to other candidates. Slips of tongue? It has happened to Atiku, it has happened to Obi and even to their spokespersons.”
“In their slip of the tongue, PDP spokespersons and their candidates have asked Nigerians to vote for APC more than APC has even asked Nigerians to vote for APC. So what has exactly happened to Tinubu that shows he isn’t physically strong? Has he fainted? Has he missed his steps while climbing? There’s nothing. He is as health as Obi, Atiku and other candidates.”
