Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Force Public Relations Officer, Force Headquarter has reacted to a twitter user who asked him why apprehending fraudsters was still difficult in spite of BVN, NIN and SIM card registration.
Responding to the tweet,the PPRO said that people can still develop ways to communicate without registered cards or SIM cards thanks to technology. According to him, the police force have to deal with some communication technological dynamics, which occasionally makes their work tedious.
“But we are matching up with our new gadgets too. We burst them, we arrest them, and cause them to face the full wrath of the law. They are many because of dimensions into crimes and criminality, but still, we are out for them”, he said.
Adejobi said that the police regularly update their platforms in order to keep up with the current criminal reality. According to him, the police detained a significant number of them in Abuja FCT. He also said that the stories will be published.
