Fact checkers; CDD and Daily Trust Fact-checkers, have falsified the claim that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party and former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi sponsored the first black female doctor to carry out a heart surgery in thirty minutes.
According to the fact checkers, a certain man claimed that Peter Obi sponsored a 20-year old Igbo girl to successfully perform a heart surgery. The claim also has it that the girl was able to undertake the surgery under 30 minutes, which made her the first black female to transplant a heart into another human in 30 minutes. The claim also has it that the 20-year old Igbo girl was on scholarship in England.
However, after a thorough research, CDD Fact Check and Daily Trust Fact-checkers revealed that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi did not sponsor any 20-year old Igbo Female doctor named Chiamaka that carried out heart transplant in 30 minutes.
The fact checkers also noted that it is impossible to carry out a heart transplant in 30 minutes.
