Siaya Governor James Aggrey Orengo will tomorrow (Saturday) accompany President Dr. William Samoei Ruto as he commissions Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology JOOUST Blue Economy Research Hub.
James Aggrey Orengo (far right) is among 5 ODM Party governors, Mombasa’s Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir who are reaping big by collaborating with the national government.
According to a press release from the office of the Siaya Governor, the event will be held from 9:00 am at the Miyandhe Campus.
The Governor will later accompany the President as he attends IT Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owallo’s Thanksgiving ceremony in Gangu Village, West Asembo, Rarieda Sub County.

On Friday President Ruto graced the finals of Genowa Soccer Tournament whose patron is Homabay Governor Gladys Wanga. The president later held talks with Governor Ochillo Ayacko in Migori.
Dr. Ruto’s Nyanza tour is seen as an effort to woo the region which forms the bedrock of Raila’s support.
Meanwhile, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has said: “Raila is a statesman who deserves recognition from everyone. You are indeed Baba’s people. I want to tell you today that if you think Raila is your man he is equally ours.”
