“Catholic Priests Don’t Have Problem With Intimacy Because They Have Access To Women” – Ex-Reverend

In the early hours of today, the Punch Newspaper granted a former reverend father, Professor Pius Abioje, an interview where he narrated his experiences as a priest and why he altered his faith to African traditional religion.

The former reverend father said, “when I started having the feeling of becoming a priest, I consulted a diviner. I didn’t see myself as a celibate. I can tell you today that catholic priests do not have problem with intimacy because they have access to to women.”

Speaking further, the former Department of Religion head at the University of Ilorin said, “I knew things were not alright when I started envying married people.”

Lastly, Ex-Reverend Father Pius Abioje said, “there were some beliefs that never went down well with me. One of them was that someone took away my sins and the second is that a man cannot marry more than one wife. People who embezzle money are always told to repent and return the stolen money if they can but for a Christian to take a second wife, he will be regarded a second-class citizen and no longer a communicant that can receive holy communion.”
