Nigerians Reacts As LP 1st Gov Elect, Oti, Deletes Tweet Where He Called Obi President In Waiting

The Governorship candidate of the Labour Party, Dr. Alex Oti, defeated his opponents to become the Governor elect of Abia State. He defeated the Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Okechukwu Ahiwe. Dr. Alex Oti won 10 local government areas in Abia State, as the PDP candidate, Ahiwe swept six. Labour Party got a total number of 175467 votes, while PDP got a 88,529. Reacting to the victory of Dr. Alex Oti, Mr. Peter Obi, the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, released a statement where he congratulated Dr. Alex Oti for winning the election. In reply, Dr. Alex Oti called him his president in waiting.

However, hours after calling Peter Obi, the President in waiting, Dr. Alex Oti deleted the tweet. This action by Dr. Alex Oti has led to a lot of reactions and comments from Nigerians online. Reacting to it, a twitter user with the handle name ‘Kayode Sadiq’ commented, “No be lie, he is waiting for 2032 Na”.
