Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Bright Edafe has urged Nigerians to discourage Internet fraudsters by all means.
In a tweet, the PPRO is of the opinion that today’s practice of internet fraud coexists alongside cults and drug addiction. He said that in recent times, some of them even consume cocaine as food.
He prayed that the people celebrating those into internet fraud never experience the events being celebrated. The PPRO also urged the public to speak out against them. He also left people with the option of blaming the government if it’s their wish. In his own words:
“Internet fraud being practiced today goes side by side with Cultism and drug abuse. These days some of them even feed on Cocaine. For those of us celebrating them, I pray they don’t happen to you someday. Discourage it with all your strength. If you like, blame the government”.
