Police officers are a valuable part of the society that millions of Kenyans live in as they do their best to keep them safe at all times in the country.

The police officers ensure that crime as well as other acts of lawlessness is handled and this people across the country are able to live in peace without interference from no one.
This evening, according to the available reliable reports that we have with us from the National Police Service official social media handle, twenty one officers have been awarded by Manu Chandaria for their acts of bravery.
The Chandaria Bravery Award where twenty officers were awarded was presided over by the DCI Director General Amin Mohamed on behalf of the Inspector General of Police, Japhet Koome.

Inspector of Police Silvester Mwabaya was awarded for his humanitarian nature that saw him save a life of a fellow police officer from committing suicide with a firearm at the NPC-Main Campus Kiganjo on the 19th of January, 2021.
Inspector of Police Oyagi Kiere from the Traffic Department was awarded after he secured and surrendered all the 450,000 Kenya shillings of an accident victim along Ndara-Nairobi Highway on the 26th of December, 2021.

Constable Driver Nickson Kiplangat from the General Service Unit is said to have sustained a gunshot attack from bandits in Kapedo, which led to the amputation of his hand;
APC Geoffrey Okwamong from SOG was also awarded after he sustained a gunshot wound on his right arm which has since resulted into a permanent disability.
