A day after Azimio Mass Action protest on Monday, the Embakasi East member of parliament Hon Babu Owino alleged what will happen if the Azimio leader Hon Raila Amolo Odinga is arrested. Babu Owino revealed this through his official Twitter account.
Babu Owino warned that if Raila Odinga is arrested, the country will be forced into an economic blockade and the Azimio allied Members of Parliament would resign. According to Babu Ownio’s sentiments, the country will be driven into chaos and demands for Mr. Odinga’s release.
He also said that government is currently having extra arm in addition to the usual three arms. Apart from Judiciary, Executive and Legislature, Babu Owino said that Raila Odinga is also an arm of the government and therefore nobody should have intentions or think of arresting him. His sentiments have evoked mixed reactions among the Twitter users.
Babu Owino tweeted, “Try arrest Raila and experience what it comes with it.”
