The vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Datti Baba-Ahmed broke down into tears in today’s Town Hall Meeting organized by Channels television as he spoke on the Insults his family has been receiving since he was made Peter Obi’s vice for the election. According to him, he has been paying a huge price for trying to rescue Nigeria and the insults he and his family has received are the huge price he is paying. Datti Baba-Ahmed also revealed that if the insults has been aimed at him alone with his family and been left out it would’ve been easier for him to deal with. In his own words as seen on Channels television today …
“I and my family have been paying a huge price for my attempts to rescue Nigeria. They sent all sorts of people after us and I would’ve been a lot happier if only they stopped at me as an individual. It doesn’t happen anywhere in the world, you don’t insult people’s parents or their families. It’s such a huge price for anyone to pay.”
