Sen. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate yesterday promised to transform advance fee fraudsters, otherwise known as “Yahoo boys,” by expert in Manufacturing and creating technological hubs for them, if elected in next month’s poll.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu stated this during his campaign rally in Benin, the Edo State capital, yesterday.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, who flew into the ancient city from Kano where his campaign train berthed on Wednesday, urged a huge crowd of supporters at the University of Benin Sports Complex, Ugbowo, to vote for him, if they wanted to be rich.
Edo Police Gun Down Robbery Suspect.

Men of the Edo State Police Command have killed a robbery suspect in a gun duel while another suspect was arrested with arms.
The spokesperson for the state police command, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, in a statement on Thursday, noted that the operation was carried out with men of the Edo State Security Network.
The statement read in part, “Police operatives attached to Ugbor Division, GRA, Benin City, Edo State, and the Edo State Security Network personnel, led by the Divisional Police Officer, on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, around 8pm, successfully engaged a robbery gang, arrested one, neutralised one, recovered one cut-to-size gun and two cartridges.
“The arrested suspect, Ahmed Ibrahim, aged 19, is currently in police custody and will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, while the body of the deceased armed robber, whose name is yet unknown, has been deposited in the Stella Obasanjo Mortuary in the state.”

All Progressives Congress Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, said former President Olusegun Obasanjo is not qualified to recommend or endorse anyone as President of Nigeria because of his failures.
While speaking on Thursday at the APC Presidential Campaign rally held at the University of Benin Sports Complex, Ugbowo Campus, Benin, the APC flagbearer said Obasanjo failed to develop the country when he had the opportunity, but rather was fighting his then Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, while accusing each other of spending the country’s money for their personal comfort.
Tinubu noted that after spending $16billion on electricity, Obasanjo and the PDP government could not deliver electricity for Nigerians to even make popcorn.

Former Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola has promised to deliver over 1.5 million votes from the State for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the February 25, 2023, presidential election.
Mr. Oyetola made this disclosure at the inauguration of Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council in Osogbo on Thursday.
Oyetola, who is the State Coordinator, Tinubu/Shettima PCC, also tasked the newly-inaugurated members to intensify efforts towards ensuring all round victory for the APC presidential candidate and his running mate and all the party candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
Delta Man Kills Brother Over Fraud Proceeds.

A man, identified as Ukodo, has been allegedly killed by his elder brother in Sapele, in the Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
The suspect reportedly slit Ukodo’s throat with a razor blade following the payment of proceeds of Ukodo’s Internet fraudulent deal into the brother’s bank account.
PUNCH Metro gathered that residents rushed Ukodo to a nearby hospital, where he gave up the ghost.
The spokesman for the Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, could not be reached for comments on the incident as of the time of filing this report.
