At a youth town hall meeting in Abuja, Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello said APC presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu was still in secondary school when he reached the right level in Nigerian politics. He said he was well aware of what happened to MKO Abiola when Tinubu was in school.
He also assured Tinubu that he and his party would be confident of victory in the coming general elections. He added that God saved Tinubu for the country just as he saved President Buhari.
According to him, “Jagaban Asiwaju, the leader of the universe, has been marketing himself since he started fighting for democracy in this country.”
“After June 12, 1993, when I was still in high school, I knew very well what you went through with MKO Abiola, and today God saved you for us as God led. He saved Muhammadu Buhari for us.”
