Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga on Friday continued with a series of meetings as he seeks to consolidate his opposition troops after the 2022 election loss.
On Friday the Azimio leader met with ODM County Coordinating Committee Chairperson where they resolved different matters affecting the opposition in the country. They also made new resolutions that will keep the opposition vibrant.
According to photos that were shared on different social media platforms, the ODM members who attended Raila’s meeting were majorly in orange shirts written ‘tuko tayari’ on the back meaning that they are ready.
In the past week, the Azimio leader has been moving across the country urging his supporters to get ready when he calls them. He urged his supporters to remain fearless and be ready to take to the streets if the government fails to reduce the cost of living when his 14 days ultimatum expires.
However, President William Ruto and his allies have dismissed his threats saying that they will not be intimidated by the opposition. All attention will now focus on Raila Odinga to see if he will call for mass action in the coming days.
