Shehu Sani Reacts As Tinubu Set Up Reconciliation Committee To Meet Peter Obi, Atiku, Kwankwaso

Former Kaduna senator Shehu Sani has commented on the reconciliation group formed by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president-elect.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, the victor of the 2023 presidential election on March 1, 2023.

While delivering his acceptance speech, Tinubu said he is ready to work with his contenders in the election.

In order to confer with the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Labour Party, Peter Obi, the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, and other parties, the president-elect has established a reconciliation committee.

Recall that the opposing parties demanded the election’s cancellation and a new round of voting because they disapproved of the results.

Peter Obi has already declared that he will take the electoral results to court.

Shehu Sani responded to the news by claiming that the president-attempt elect’s at unity will not succeed.

According to him, “Asiwaju’s peace overtures is good, but I don’t think it will produce any result with the PDP and LP Presidential candidates. The country will certainly be dragged into a long legal battle.”
