Speaking about the kissing photo, that went viral, Akuapem Poloo disclosed that the Stand-up comedian Derick Kobina Bonney well-known as DKB wanted to promote his show so they needed some to trend to leverage on it.

“I have kissed DKB before but we kissed at JoyPrime. It was for a trend, he was there to promote his show. DKB and I can do a lot for trends. That is between us”, Akuapem Poloo revealed in an interview on Kingdom FM.

However, she was fast to add that she cannot do what she did with DKB now because she now converted to a Muslim and the religion frowns on such.
Akuapem Poloo also emphasized that they never had any intimate relationship; adding that the comedian also never proposed love to her.

“But I cannot do that after I am now fully converted to Islam. DKB and I can do a lot. Before God and man, he never asked me out, not because I fear him or that, he has never proposed to me, I don’t know his house, and he also doesn’t know mine”, Akuapem Poloo used swear words to prove her innocence.
