A Chieftain of the Labour Party (LP), Mr. Favour Reuben has challenged Mr. Nyesom Wike, the Governor of Rivers State to reveal his preferred presidential candidate ahead of the upcoming 2023 elections.

He disclosed this of recent while doubting speculations flying around that Wike was allegedly supporting Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
He said: ” We are hearing that Governor Wike, who few years back declared our state as a Christian State because he was running for election, has changed overnight and suddenly decided to form a league with the Muslim – Muslim ticket of APC because of his personal interest. As a man, we know who Wike is. He should come out and tell Rivers people that the man we are supporting is Tinubu. He should not take it through the back door; we want him to come out openly”.
Recall that some other stakeholders had called on Wike to disclose his choice of presidential candidate but the Governor declined, insisting that the people of Rivers State already know whom to vote for.
