Kenya’s emeritus Chief justice David Maraga, the former president of the Supreme court is among the senior names who are attending a meeting chaired by prime cabinet secretary Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi.
In a video seen by this writer, the former chief justice was part of the high profile individuals who are present at a hospitality establishment in Nanyuki town where members of the cabinet have retreated.
Apart from Mr David Maraga, other individuals who are visible from the video include ministry of and public service cabinet secretary Aisha Jumwa and ministry of ICT cabinet secretary Eliud Owalo.
Others in attendance are ministry of foreign affairs cabinet secretary Alfred Mutua and education cabinet secretary Ezekiel Machogu. Ministry of the national treasury CS Njuguna Ndung’u was also in attendance plus a host of other high profile individuals.
President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua were scheduled to attend the meeting too. They will be in Nanyuki for three days.
