The Niger state’s PCC chairman, who described Musa Ibeto as a political turncoat, said, “our party will not lose sleep over his defection. Our party (APC) receives at least ten (10) new members for any member that leaves. We are interested in people and not individuals. People should stop making a mountain out of molehill.”
Speaking further, Hamza Waziri said, “I agree that Ibeto is not familiar with political struggles and he is always a gatecrasher. This is clear from his political antecedents. He got much of his past political appointments on a platter of gold.”
Lastly, Hamza Waziri said in politics, anyone who believes in individuals would lose massively.
What are your thoughts about the reaction of Niger state’s PCC chairman to their former governor’s defection?
