Blessing Adeniran, the mother of Whitney Adeniran, the Chrisland Student who reportedly slumped during an Inter-house sporting activities organised by the school, has recently revealed what she observed when she saw the body of her late daughter at the hospital.
In the report on Punch News, Blessing, in a video shared online, revealed that she noticed that her daughter’s lips and tongue had allegedly turned black when she got to the hospital she was rushed to.
Blessing, who said she was told by the doctor that he suspected that her daughter died from a heart attack, wondered why her daughter who she claimed had not heart complications or sickness could have a heart attack. She further further to argue that even if her daughter had a heart attack, she was not supposed to died from it because she had it for the first time.
Blessing also alleged that the hospital her daughter was rushed to was not a proper hospital but an immunisation centre. She knocked the school for not having a first aid management in place at the school as she believes her daughter might have survived if she was given a first aid treatment after she allegedly slumped.
She said: “How does a 12-year-old have a cardiac arrest? No pre-existing heart condition, no pre-existing medical condition. She was hale and hearty, she was not sick in any form. Even if she will die from cardiac arrest why should one arrest kill a healthy teenager? Let me state this, that by the time I got there, my daughter’s lips and tongue had already turned black.”
“My child was not taken to a hospital, she was taken to an immunisation centre but that is not even my pain. My pain is there was no proper first aid management, there was nothing that was done for her; she was brought to the hospital dead. Because when her medical report came in, it said dead on arri.”
Speaking about her husband’s reaction when he saw his daughters corpse at the hospital, Blessing said: “When my husband came he came in to pick his child to take her to another hospital, he came in and met her dead. He screamed, shouted, ‘Desola, daddy is here, stand up. What is happening to my child’. My husband knelt down crying begging the doctor ‘help me, this is my first child’.”
