Toyin Abraham Condemns Threatening Behavior Over Political Affiliation

Nollywood actress and producer, Toyin Abraham, has publicly criticized those who created an obituary video of her on social media due to her support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu. On Friday, Abraham took to her Instagram account to share screenshots of the obituary from YouTube.

In her criticism of the individuals responsible, Abraham emphasized the importance of allowing individuals to make decisions freely without being threatened or harassed. She wrote, “It is no longer democracy if people cannot make decisions freely without being threatened.” Everyone does not see things from the same perspective, and bullying, harassing, or threatening people because they disagree with a personal choice is unacceptable.

The actress went on to reiterate her support for Tinubu, questioning why people’s lives should be threatened based on their political affiliations. She stated, “Why should anyone wish others harm because they made a different political choice?” “Death is not my portion, in Jesus’ name.”

Abraham concluded by standing firm in her political beliefs and denouncing the use of threats and intimidation in the political sphere.
