In the midst of the recent PDP turmoil, Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike declared himself to be a significant party supporter.
Wike, who leads the G-5 group and gave a speech yesterday, swore that people who contributed to the party’s survi would continue to yell whenever danger was evident.
The G-5 governors could not be excluded from the party they helped form, Wike stated in response to concerns that they might be punished.
He said, “I’m just worried because I’m a major PDP member. What did I do? I did nothing. We who have been a part of this party since 1998,
It has helped the group survive up to this point, and it will keep yelling anytime danger arises. Nobody could force us to leave the PDP that we have built. All of us will fight here.
