For the past few days, Ghana has been talking about Kuami Eugene’s allegedly broken-up relationship with his housekeeper, Mary.
The news spread when Mary told Der Madking TV that she no longer worked for the Highlife singer because of a mistake.
In explaining what happened, Mary, who accepted that she was to blame for their fight, said that she was sent on a task but did something wrong.
Eugene sent Mary to bring a package to someone in the Cantonments, but she ended up in Madina and then Nkrumah Circle because of a slight brain distortion she experienced.
She said she had been feeling dizzy the whole trip, and later, when she delivered the package, she got lost and ended up somewhere else.
Mary told Kuami Eugene that she did not take things lightly with her after spending the whole day on that trip going around in circles.
He told her she had two choices: her pay would go from GH₵600 to GH₵400, or she could go back to live with her mother.
Although Mary said she picked the first choice, she changed her mind and left the house after some thought.

Mary, who used to work as Kuami Eugene’s housekeeper, said that she has received a number of threats since she recently told others about her former boss.
She said that she has been getting threats from Kuami Eugene’s camp, especially from his school father, whom she called “Father.”
Mary said that Father just called her and told her that it would be best for her to stop giving interviews.
“Kuami Eugene’s school father, I call him Father. He recently called me and said if I want peace of mind, I should stop talking. I don’t know what he means by that. He could send someone to come hurt me because he asked about my location and all that.
“After the first interview, he kept calling and calling but I refused to pick. So, I returned the calls later and he told me that instead of keeping quiet and choosing peace, I have chosen to grant interviews. He said it’s been just a few weeks since I left Kuami’s house yet I am granting interviews,” she retorted in an interview with Der Madking TV.
Mary’s mother has also claimed that her daughter, after being sacked from Kuami Eugene’s house, returned with an unidentified sickness that left her in a coma for a while.
“When my daughter left my place, she was totally healthy, but when she came back from his house, she had a serious sickness that no one knew about. She even fell into a coma. We had to take her to a clinic but the doctors there couldn’t do anything about it. So we had to refer her to Tetteh Quarshie,” she said.
