Darkovibes has been criticized for his lack of success and luxurious lifestyle compared to artists like Shatta Wale and Sarkodie.
This surprising revelation came from his former friend and music producer, Vacs, during an interview with celebrity blogger Sammy Kay.
In retaliation to Darkovibes’ previous insult towards him, Vacs claimed that Darkovibes portrays a fake life on social media and even lives in a single room.
According to Vacs, they used to live together with other aspiring artists in Mallam, a suburb of Accra and had agreed to support each other as they climbed the ladder of success.
However, after Darkovibes achieved fame with his hit song “Tomorrow,” he changed his attitude. Vacs expressed his disappointment, calling Darkovibes a sellout for abandoning his friends after reaching the top.
Is Darkovibes really broke?

Although Darkovibes has released some good songs, he has yet to achieve A-list status as an artist. It’s difficult to gauge his wealth since poverty is a relative term.
Despite not being a household name, he recently boasted that his music is evergreen and won’t fade into obscurity like other mainstream songs that have a limited lifespan.
During an interview on 3Music TV’s Big Conversation, the Ghanaian singer, who collaborated with Nigeria’s Davido on “Je M’appelle,” claimed that the track will stand the test of time because of the special vibe he brought to it. He also believes that his previous hits, such as “Tomorrow,” “Stay Woke,” and “Inna Song,” will continue to resonate with his fans for a long time.
“I think Je M’appelle is that kind of song that is never going to die.” He intimated that there was a sense of nostalgic feeling brought onto songs like Tomorrow, Stay Woke and Inna Song. When I recorded those songs, they gave me nostalgic vibes and memories…Je M’appelle is here to stay,” the singer said proudly.
