In light of the ongoing controversy surrounding Kuame Eugene and his former househelp, the situation has been exacerbated by the girl’s mother’s recent statement.
The mother of Mary has asserted that her daughter fell ill with an unknown illness after being dismissed from the artist’s residence. According to her, Mary’s family had to rush her to a clinic and then transfer her to another hospital for further treatment.
The mother also claimed that a man who identified himself as Kuami Eugene’s school father had contacted Mary and warned her not to speak to the media about her experiences.
In a previous interview with TV, Mary claimed that she had been starved and had collapsed multiple times while working for Kuami Eugene. She also alleged that his girlfriend had warned her to stay away from him. The mother has now added her voice to these accusations.
“When my daughter left my place, she was totally healthy, but when she came back from his house, she had a serious sickness that no one knew about. She even fell into a coma. We had to take her to a clinic but the doctors there couldn’t do anything about it. So we had to refer her to Tetteh Qwashie.

Shedding light on one of the main reasons for their falling out, which ultimately led to her dismissal, Mary disclosed to Der Mad King in an interview that Kuami Eugene’s girlfriend played a significant role in her departure.
Mary claimed that the lady accused her of having an affair with Kuami Eugene and even went as far as stating that she had video evidence on her phone to support her claim.
It is worth mentioning that Eugene had previously mentioned in an interview with Delay that it was his girlfriend who had hired Mary as a household assistant, with the intention of taking care of his domestic needs.
The ‘Monica’ hitmaker further stated that their relationship had become extremely close, to the point where Mary and his mother had developed a good rapport.
“Kuami Eugene’s girlfriend said she’s got evidence that I have been sleeping with him. She said she has video evidence, her friends were also saying same,” Mary told the interviewer.
