Chris Hughton names 25-man squad for Madagascar, Comoros games

The black squad for the opening two matches of the highly anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers has been announced by coach Chris Hughton.

Later this month, Ghana will play Comoros and Madagascar in Group I of the African qualifiers. Hughton has put together a strong 25-man roster with an eye toward the impending big games.

Notably, after recovering from an injury, Joseph Wollacott has triumphantly rejoined the team.

Sadly, Baba Rahman was unable to guarantee a berth in the starting lineup. Positively, Kasim Nuhu Adams has also merited a return to the team. Ghana’s chances are further enhanced by the inclusion of the excellent trio of Daniel Amartey, Mohammed Kudus, and the Ayew brothers in the squad.
