A Ghanaian woman has called for justice after her 19-year-old son sadly died due to receiving an injection from the Ewin Polyclinic in Cape Coast.
According to her, her son – who is a second-year student at the Unversity of Ghana Law School – had an asthmatic attack and hence they took him to the hospital, only for them to cause his demise.
Narrating her story, she said her son got an attack and needed oxygen hence they took him to the polyclinic.
Whilst at the clinic, they asked her to buy some medicine for her son and then he was given an injection of an unknown substance.
According to her, he got distressed after the injection and despite the nurses trying to revive him, he passed away.
The worst part is they quickly took him to the morgue and have refused to release his cause of death.
The traumatised mother is calling for help to force the hospital to be held accountable for what happened to her son.
