Mamelodi Sundowns have been actively loaning out players to provide them with increased playing time.
Recently, a talented attacker, Promise Mkhuma, has made the decision to leave the club.
As reported by Idiski Times, Mkhuma has joined Motsepe Foundation Championship team AmaTuks on a season-long loan from Sundowns.
At 23 years old, Promise Mkhuma spent the previous season on loan at All Stars, participating in 12 matches and netting two goals.
However, despite this performance, the head coach of Sundowns, Rulani Mokoena, did not see fit to reintegrate him into the squad.

Mkhuma’s journey in the Sundowns setup began when he graduated from the academy to the first team in 2019.
His potential was evident, making him a standout among the younger players.
Nevertheless, due to the intense competition within the team, he struggled to secure a regular starting position.
Consequently, he managed to appear in only 15 matches across four full seasons.

The decision to loan out Mkhuma to AmaTuks appears to be a strategic one, aimed at offering him more playing opportunities and the chance to further develop his skills.
This approach aligns with Sundowns’ broader practice of sending out players on loan to gain valuable experience.
While Mkhuma’s time with Sundowns has been marked by limited appearances, his move to AmaTuks could potentially provide him with the platform to showcase his talents and secure a more prominent role in the future.

His success at AmaTuks could open up possibilities for his career trajectory, either leading to a more substantial role within Sundowns or potentially catching the attention of other clubs that recognize his potential and performance.
