‘When My Father Lived In Enugu, We Took Train From Enugu And We Land In My Town In Ede’ – Adeleke

The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke narrated how his father takes a train with them from Enugu down to Ede town in Osun State while they were young. He said in an interview with Channels Tv news that he intends to bring back railway transportation to the state. According to him, he has spoken with the minister of Transportation, Adegboyega Oyetola on how to commence the project.

He said, ”I’m considering the railway transportation because the railway is the best. While we were growing up, when my father lived in Enugu, we take train from Enugu and we land in my town in Ede. And we come for the weekend, so its very good. I’m speaking with some railway partners about how we can do this together. My predecessor is now the transport minister, so I spoke with him and said I supported him. Now that campaign is over, he must come down, and let’s work together.”
