Nigerian veteran entertainer, Charly Boy has taken to social media to disclose that he has been facing lots of challenges since this year began, being scammed by people and having prostrate cancer which he successfully recovered from.
The activist who made such disclosure through his official Instagram page, reacted to a viral video of Nigerian businesswoman, King Phreedah’s attempt to end her life by jumping into the third Mainland bridge in Lagos State few days ago.
According to Charly Boy, suicide is real and it is the most underreported phenomenon in Nigeria, adding that;
“I have been going through a lot this year. I was defrauded hundred of millions. I had prostrate cancer, which claimed the lives of more than a few friends of mine. In all of it all, I am recovering and still keep it simple, like my papa teach me.”
Speaking further, Charly Boy stated that people must be very mindful about their mental health, adding that part of how he survived his psychotic challenges was by making sure that nothing polluted his brain.
The singer finally stated that being able to be his true self is one of the greatest component of his good mental health, adding that people should learn how to open up that they trust rather than isolating themselves.
