The Johannesburg is one of South African big city and the center of the country’s Economy. Unfortunately it is no longer in the condition which it used to.
Back then, it was clean and attractive but now it is covered with high crime rate and dirty. It is not a secret that it is now home of foreigners counted in Millions.
Minister of police in the Republic of South Africa General Bheki Cele led the Operation Shanela in Johannesburg Central Business Distribution on Saturday, 12th of August 2023 clamping down business operations selling counterfeit goods.
The operation was carried out by the South African Police Services (Saps), the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD), the Department of Home Affairs as well the Department of Employment and Labour.
Now the minister of the department of Police in the Republic of South Africa General Bheki Cele ia saying that such operations will be a norm in the city of Johannesburg targeting illegal foreigners selling on the streets of Johannesburg.
