As Soon As Dangote’s Refinery Is Onstream And We Follow It Correctly, Price Will Come Down–Gov. Sule

Abdullahi Sule, the current governor of Nasarawa State, has speculated that the cost of petrol may be on the decline as a result of several circumstances. He noted that the cost of exporting crude oil, among other things, has led to the increase in gasoline costs.

During a Channels Television interview, Governor Sule said this. He continued by saying that the cost of petroleum is anticipated to naturally drop once the Dangote refinery is open and well used.

The Governor had implied, though he did not mention it specifically, that there were worries about the potential of petrol costs rising to N1000 per litre. He emphasised that some Nigeria’s neighbours that depend on its oil have already begun selling it at higher prices.

The forthcoming Dangote refinery is significant, according to the governor of Nasarawa, since it is anticipated to play a significant part in regulating petroleum prices in Nigeria. The nation now spends money refining crude oil, which has caused a rise in gasoline costs.

A remedy is being sought, as shown by Governor Sule’s statement that the Federal Government is acting to solve the problems brought on by the rise in gasoline costs.
