A pastor in Akwakuma, Owerri, has been accused of killing his fiancée through a forced abortion and subsequently marrying her corpse.
Rev Dr. Sucess Emeka Sunday, who owns Life Transformation Praying Ministry, reportedly administered a drug that caused Chioma Okoye to become unconscious before taking her to a hospital for an abortion.
The procedure resulted in complications, including vomiting blood, and Chioma ultimately passed away.
The pastor allegedly registered her under a different name at the hospital. The incident has caused shock and outrage among the family of the deceased.
