Kuame Eugene eventually made amends by embracing Fotocopy when they finally met in person in the Okay FM studios, putting an end to any potential hostility between them.
In a recent interview with Bryt TV, Fotocopy—unquestionably the youngest rapper in Africa—expressed his dislike for Kuame Eugene, an A-list artiste in the Afrobeat department and Ghana music in general, and made it abundantly obvious.
When he and his team contacted Kuami Eugene for a collaboration, he allegedly informed them that their numbers were too small for him to appear on their track. He claimed that the remark wounded his pride and caused him to feel hopeless. Having recounted his story, he said:

“Kuami Eugene, I don’t want to talk about it. In the whole industry, he is an artiste I hate. I hate him because of what he told me, it took me more than a week to eat. It took me more than a week for me to eat because he told me that my numbers were really small and he couldn’t feature me.”
When questioned if he felt unworthy, the artist acknowledged that he is a young musician and that there aren’t many other young people in the industry who can do what he does. He claimed that the legendary dancehall artist Shatta Wale saved him and joined him on a single, which he then vigorously promoted. He said as he was leaving;
“It was because of him that Shatta Wale called me. I really liked him, his music, his career, his lifestyle and everything. I was there when he told me he couldn’t feature me. It made me feel bad but I didn’t feel bad because I knew I am the only one that can do something no kid in the music industry can do. I cried.”
In a different interview, Kuame Eugene, however, rejected his assertions and denounced his remark. Here is his account of what he said actually happened.
“I think hate is too much of an intense word for a small boy to understand. To say that I hate someone. He’s too young to understand hate but that’s parenting. He’s not my issue because I think hate is too profound for a little boy like this to say.
You can tell clearly that in the interview he was having, he was told backstage….and whoever hosted the show, did a very bad job because he was also told backstage that ask him this question and answer it this way, you can clearly, go and listen to this interview.”

Abeiku Santana, the host of Drive on Okay FM, photographed Kuame Eugene, who is presently on a press tour for his single with Hollywood Star, hugging the 9-year-old.
Later videos of Kuami Eugene, Abeiku Santana, Fotocopy, and his father/manager taking pictures were also uploaded to the internet.
