There seemed to be ecstasy on Twitter as Ghanaians celebrate President Nana Akufo-Addo on his birthday with the hashtag #NanaAt79.
‘Addo Show Boy,’ as he is affectionately called by many Ghanaians, turned 79 years yesterday.
The First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo took to her social media page to celebrate her husband, President Nana Akufo-Addo.
She said, “Happy birthday to my dear husband and the President of the Republic.”
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia also joined well-wishers to celebrate President Akufo-Addo.
On his Twitter page, Dr. Bawumia said, “I wish my boss President @NAkufoAddo a happy birthday. I thank you and appreciate you. May God continue to give you the wisdom, good health and long life to direct the affairs of our motherland Ghana.”
Ghanaians also took to twitter to express their gratitude for his leadership and contribution to the development of the country.
They also prayed for good health and long life to be able to continue with his good governance.
The Tertiary Students Confederacy of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (TESCON-KNUST) also expressed their good-will message to celebrate President Akufo-Addo.
