Known on social media as Mr Ambassador mainly because of his relationship with the former France Ambassador to Ghana, Anne Sophie Avé, Awal Sulemana has stated that many Ghanaians often contact him for visas.
Speaking on SVTV AFRICA with DJ Nyaami, Mr Ambassador indicated that he has assisted some people in that regard, but he can not help with visa issuance as many call him on.
“I get a lot of messages in my inbox saying they want to travel. I send them links to their websites for their requirements so you can apply if you are eligible.
I recently helped someone who wanted to study in the US, but I don’t issue visas. Even the ambassadors are not in charge of that,” he said.
Awal, moreover, revealed that the first ambassador he met was Anne Sophie. However, he has met about 18 other ambassadors through her. Awal Sulemana is the CEO of a Non-Profit Organisation called MR Ambassador Empire.
