What NCIC Vice Chair Told Azimio Over Protests as She States What Ruto & Raila Should Do (VIDEO)

National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) vice chairperson Wambui Nyutu has dropped a message to the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya leadership as the Azimio wing plans to organize more protests within the country.

Speaking during an interview at Citizen TV today morning, the Vice Chair acknowledge that indeed Kenyans have a constitutional right to demonstrate and picket. However, she noted that the demonstrations should not lead to a point where others suffer in the hands of the protesters.

Wambui asked the Azimio leadership to ask their supporters to have respect for other Kenyans are are not interested in their demonstrations.

Wambui said that from what she noted, the demonstrators are just people who are frustrated because of the high cost of living. However, she said that the demonstrators should remember that their are the same group of hungry Kenyans who want to make a living.

She claimed that on Monday, the streets of Nairobi were deserted, meaning that businesses were closed down because of the Azimio demonstrations. She said that both the police and the demonstrators should have respect for Kenyans were want to go about their normal businesses.

She claimed to that Kenya is not the only country facing economic challenges and that the solution cannot be reached through violence.

According to the NCIC Vice Chair, President William Ruto and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga should have a dialogue to reach an amicable solution.

“Kenya is not the only country facing economic challenges, but the solution doesn’t lie in violence… leaders must come together, sit down and have dialogue,” she said.
