producer Kwesi Dosunmu-Mensah known well in the music space as M.O.G Beatz says that most artists in Ghana are depressed.
Most artists have disclosed how they have gone through a phase of depression in their musical careers. In 2020, recall that songstress MzVee revealed how she left the music space because she was depressed.

MzVee disclosed that she was depressed for two years and needed to stay away from friends, colleagues, and her own management. She disclosed how songstress Efya helped her go through that difficult phase and also over come it.

In a new development, M.O.G Beatz has claimed that most of these artists go into depression due to a lack of hits songs. According to him, he believes that the demands from fans and lovers of their music are a contributory factor to their depression.
M.O.G tweeted, “Chale a lot of Artistes are depressed o.. May God give them peace .. Cos eno easy especially when the hits are not coming and the fans are constantly downgrading their efforts“.
“Even some producers, video directors, actors, etc are also depressed. Lord have mercy“.
