Kisii Residents Break Silence, Regret Not Joining Demos, Tell Raila to do This (Video)

Kisii is one of the counties in Nyanza which demonstrations on Monday were not experienced.

However, Kisii residents have broken their silence on interview by Citizen TV on why they didn’t turn out for the Demos and their views.

The Kisii residents urged Raila Odinga to continue with the demonstrations until the servers are open, the cost of living and the prices of basic commodities to go down.

Enock Onyanja: I’m a resident of Kisii. The demonstrations make the government responsible. We urge the servers to be opened so that Raila Odinga may confirm if he was fairly defeated. I don’t know why Ruto doesn’t want to open servers. We also want Ruto to deliver what he promised to Kenyans.

Meshack: We didn’t demonstrate but people are tired. We are tired of this high cost of living. The demonstrations were few but we want more in near future.

Daniel Ochieng: Demonstrations happened but we had challenges between police officers and protesters. We want price of fuel to be lowered.

Joseph Oruta: I thank for Monday’s demonstrations. They are not for Raila but all Kenyans. It’s unfortunate that we didn’t hold the demonstrations. Ruto’s administration has messed up, Uhuru had 20 CS but Ruto has 25 plus 50 CASs. He’s lying to us that Kenya is broke.
