Ernest Henry Norgbey, Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ashaiman Constituency, has called for the establishment of an independent committee of inquiry to investigate the invasion of some military personnel in Ashaiman following the killing of a soldier Trooper Imoro Sherrif in the area.
Speaking to Peace FM’s Salaamat Kuukua Paintsil, Hon Ernest Norgbey explained, the bi-partisan committee if established must be able to identify all the officers and bring them to justice for dehumanizing innocent residents in the area.
Using Ashaiman as a case study, the committee once formed will be able to solve all of the mysteries surrounding soldiers’ invasion in communities, he indicated.
Asked is resident have gone back to their normal daily duties, Hon Norgbey said, normal duties have begun however without those that are nursing their wounds.
