Situation continues to worsen despite deployment of Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) in Samburu county and other disturbed places. According to reports, four more people have been killed in two separate bandit attacks in Samburu County despite the ongoing security operation in the region.
Reports indicated that 2 herdsmen were gunned down on Saturday afternoon at around 2 p.m at a place known as Lolmolok area by armed bandits believed to be from a neighbouring community. This has now brought to ten, the number of people killed by armed bandits in a span of one week, despite the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) presence in the region.
Locals have decried for loss of their beloved ones since presence of KDF in the region is not changing the situation as deaths continues to troll every day and it made their lives to be a great risks.
