The nation’s first lady, Her Excellency Rachael Ruto, stepped out in favor of the president after the public felt that the country was headed in the wrong direction.
This is in response to a survey by infotrak that found that a sizeable part of the population believed the country was headed in the wrong direction.
Speaking at her event, Mama Rachael urged the audience to be patient with the Ruto administration and reminded them that the president has their best interests at heart, so they shouldn’t be afraid.
She also pledged to make sure that the nearby collapsed bridge was looked into while she was at the ceremony.
When she got to Nairobi, she gave the people the reassurance that they would be well taken care of and that she would hold those responsible accountable. She also demonstrated her support by stating her confidence in President Ruto’s leadership abilities.
