Ghanaian musician DJ Azonto has disclosed how his celebrity status made him spend about GHc200 at a Waakye joint without getting some to eat.
While speaking to Amansan Krakye on Cape Coast-based Property Radio, Dj Azonto disclosed that he spent money on those who were buying waakye when he got to joint due to fame.

“Since I became a celebrity my life has changed but it has taken some of my joy away a bit like doing the things I used to do,” he stated.

He remarked “Nowadays I don’t enjoy my private life again like I used to and just a few days ago we went to a waakye joint to buy some.
“At the waakye joint I was having 200 cedis but I couldn’t get some of the waakye to eat yet all the money got finished right there,” he added.

He continued “When those buying the waakye saw me at the joint, everybody started hailing me and they started buying the waakye in my name.
“So I had to forfeit it and give them all the money so I couldn’t get some to eat meanwhile the 200 cedis got finished,” he ended on on Property.
