Human rights activist and political strategist from the populous Mount Kenya political bloc has broken his silence shaming the Head of State President William Ruto over an alleged incident that took place on Thursday at the Central Police Station in Nairobi.
According to the Mount Kenya political strategist Mr Boniface Mwangi, forty young men were caught in the city today and they are set to spend the night in the cold. According to Boniface Mwangi, the young men were arrested for taking part in peaceful demonstrations in Nairobi.
William Ruto’s Interior Cabinet Secretary Mr Kithure Kindiki, as explained by strategist Boniface Mwangi, ordered the police to deny the young men their right of being released on bail.
Mwangi has therefore termed the act as unconstitutional stating that the right to peaceful protests is protected in the constitution. He therefore shamed the Head of State William Ruto over the above alleged incident.
